Hello and welcome to CJzone.net!
As you are here I will assume the face to the left is fairly familiar to you – I am an Affiliate streamer on Twitch and have been broadcasting on the platform around my full time job since June 2016, as well as a moderator for Starlet Blossom, DomesticBliss and DaddyWisdom, with whom I have built friendships with on the platform and had the pleasure of meeting at least a couple of times at Twitch meetups prior to the pandemic.
This is not my first foray in the realm of written content online – back in the 2000s I used to run a website and online discussion community called GlobalF1.net. which enjoyed some success as a hobby-run site until the rise of Facebook meant it was largely easier for people to form their own discussion groups that could be easily accessed on their phone.
After the time I have spent on Twitch and getting involved in the culture of streaming, lately I have been finding the appetite to write longer, more considered responses to developments at Twitch and in the world of streaming more generally than it is really possible to do on a social media platform like Twitter.
It is my hope that the articles I produce on this subject in particular inform, entertain and ultimately drive debate as to how the streaming space can be realistically improved and developed into the future (controversial spoiler alert: this does not necessarily mean all streamers should get a bigger share of the revenue generated from subs etc!)
To start with I think the bulk of content will be focused around my primary hobbies of streaming, gaming and motorsports, and in time grow to cover any travel and photography opportunities that come up for me in the future.
To get an idea of the kind of content and commentary I plan to produce, why not check out the other post I am publishing today which takes a look at the reactions to a recent post made by Twitch on it’s social feeds and why I feel it should concern the streaming platforms management.
There will of course also be the opportunity for you to leave me your own thoughts and feedback here on the site in the comments section for each article that is posted, and I am open to the idea of taking contributions on any of the topics the site focuses on.
Thanks again for stopping by and reading my initial ideas of the purpose the site will serve, I hope you will find this a place worth coming back to regularly!
